International Delivery

We currently provide delivery to Hong Kong, Singapore and USA. For all other destinations please contact us for a quote at sales@falconvintners.com.

Please note that we also offer 2 months free storage to allow you to build an order suitable to ship.

Hong Kong

Our air freight door-to-door service from Vinotheque (Burton-on-Trent) to a single address in Hong Kong is £55 per 9 litre case (or £27.50 per case of 6) with a minimum of £250 per shipment.

Singapore

Our air freight door-to-door service from Vinotheque (Burton-on-Trent) to a single address in Singapore is £65 per 9 litre case (or £32.50 per case of 6) with a minimum of £280 per shipment.

USA

Our door-to-door service from Vinotheque (Burton-on-Trent) to a single address in USA is £80 per 9 litre case to anywhere except for the following States: AL, AR, DE, KY, MS, NH, OK, UT, WV.

Please note that the lead time will be 8-10 weeks assuming the wines are available for immediate release and not on future arrival.

All our stock and our clients stocks are held at the temperature controlled bonded facility of LCB Eton Park in Burton-on-Trent. The warehouse is temperature controlled at 13 degrees Celsius and humidity kept at 67% to guarantee perfect long-term storage.

WHY STORE WITH US

Our rate are some of the lowest in the industry at £17.50 per 9 litre case per year plus 20% VAT. Case of 4.5 litres or less or less will be charged at £8.75 per case per year plus 20% VAT. This is charged in arrears once a year in August. These charges includes:

• A sub account under your name.
• Replacement insurance in case of loss or damage.
• A PDF update available anytime from the ‘MY ACCOUNT’ section with your wines in storage and current market value.
• Two months free storage which is especially useful if you’re waiting to have a suitable quantity to ship.

If your tastes have changed, you’ve gone too long on a certain range of wines or one of your wines has appreciated greatly, we’re happy to agree a competitive market rate or use our global reach and multiple sales channels to sell the wines on your behalf.

At Falcon Vinters we are always interested in acquiring fine wine collections, whether stored duty-paid in a private cellar or under bond in a professional warehouse. As stockholders we are keen to purchase well-stored private collections, with a particular interest in full cases of collectible wines. However, we are happy to consider smaller offerings of fine wines, including Barolos, Super Tuscans, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, and other desirable regions.

How It Works

Simply provide us with a list of your wines, and we will offer a wine-by-wine valuation. Upon reaching an agreement, we’ll arrange prompt payment, immediately following the collection or receipt and inspection of your wines.

You can email your list of wines directly to us. To streamline the process, ensure you include any available details on provenance, and if necessary, photographs of older wines to confirm condition and packaging. Feel free to use this Template.

Selling Options

Option 1: Direct Sale We will purchase your wines outright, transferring funds as soon as the wines have been delivered to our account and inspected. Prices will be quoted based on perfect condition and original cases, with additional verification required for older vintages.

Option 2: Consignment Sale Alternatively, you can choose to list your wines on our website, where we will market them directly to our network of clients. The prices will be pre-agreed, typically set at or just below market low to ensure competitive offers. For this service, we charge a 10% commission on successful sales.

Whichever option you choose, we are committed to providing a seamless, transparent process that allows you to sell your fine wines with confidence.

Wine as investment over the last 20 years has steadily outperformed the top stock market indexes and can be a positive addition to a diversified investment portfolio.

Furthermore, UK investors can benefit from the fact that wines is considered a wasting asset which means that any sale is not subject to capital gains tax.

At Falcon we can consistently offer very competitive market prices which will give a head start. Our greatest strength, Italian wines, have also performed particularly very well over the last few years and have fared better than many of their French counterparts.

These are all held in a relaxed, informal environment and often feature our rare and older Italian wine selection.

Most of our events include 10 wines and a maximum of 10 people per bottle.
