EnquiryThe 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel Air 1er Cru has an airy, floral nose, with fine delineation, maybe not quite as precise as the Morey La Riotte by direct comparison. The palate is sweet and quite candied on the opening, sappy with redcurrant and raspberry fruit, an underlying sour cherry note lending tension on the finish. Modest length. Well crafted.
