EnquiryThe 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Argillats 1er Cru is much more understated on the nose, eschewing the mark of the warm summer. It has what you might call a "cooler" nose compared to others. There are some clever and beneficial stem additions here. The palate is powerful and bullish, not a Pinot of subtlety, and it feels just a little "made" on the finish. An NSG that needs to learn some manners. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
