Molitor s intensely yellow colored 2019 Bernkasteler Badstube Auslese *** (Green Capsule) opens with an intense yet highly refined and elegant nose with delicate blue slate aromas. Round, lush and intense on the palate, this is a voluptuous yet highly finessed and vital Auslese with a long and intense, sustainably structured and endless salty Badstube with great expression and complexity. The wine is round rather than sweet and should be aged for at least 8-10 years to get the very best of it. Tasted in May 2021.
