98% Grenache, 1% Cinsault, 1% Clairette. Aged for 12 months in a mixture of foudre (20%) and demi-muid (80%). Cask sample. Tasted blind. Vibrant nose that has some pastille fruit and a suggestion of black olive and pepper. Rounded and unctuous mouthfeel, sleek and ripe with fine tannins and good acidity. A warming finish but lots to enjoy here! (AC)
