Tasting Notes

Mid crimson. Less lifted and immediate than the Crimson 2014, more spicy and savoury, dark-red fruit, plus a deliciously dry texture thanks to very fine-grained tannins. Structured and harmonious. Plenty of spice but it seems to be fruit- not oak- derived. Long and focused. The long drinking window is informed by this impressive vertical tasting in London last year. (JH)
