Barbaresco, Cru Rabaja. Mid ruby with broad rim just beginning to show some orange. Stalky and a bit grubby on the nose. Roasted coffee aromas too. Compact and closed on the palate and with more breed to it. Good acidity and tannic grip and generous fruit sweetness. For the cellar. (WS)
