While so many other 2008 Barolos are built on perfume and grace, Fantino’s 2008 Riserva has those qualities, along with a surprising amount of pure, unbridled power. This uber-classic, deceptively mid-weight Barolo packs a serious punch. A host of sweet cherry, sage, lavender, tobacco and smoke meld into the building, intense finish.
