Tasting Notes

Low key nose. Big and smooth but not that much flavour or acidity. A bit formless and slightly tough end.
Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018

The 2004 Sigalas-Rabaud has a straightforward bouquet with hints of gingerbread and spice; the nose politely refuses to get out of second gear. The palate is nicely balanced with a fine line of acidity, although it seems rather conservative and needs more botrytis on the finish. Previous examples of the Sigalas-Rabaud have shown better than this, so I will seek to re-evaluate at a later point. Drink now-2020. Tasted February 2014.
Anticipated maturity: 2014-2020
