Tasting Notes

Mid- to deep copper. Sleek, slightly oaky, savoury nose – even more intense than de Myrat. Definitely still some oak on the nose. Good try but at the moment there is no sign that the various elements of ripe fruit and marked acidity plus oak influence are going to marry together. Not sure.

Medium yellow. Exotic aromas of apricot, yellow plum and clove. Supple, fat and full, with a honeyed, carnal quality and sound balancing acidity. Very ripe yellow fruitflavors are clean and fresh. Not especially complex, but finishes with very good length. The ’03 is richer, but this comes across as fresher today.
