Tasting Notes

Vinous 93

Soldera’s 1998 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva appears to be entering an early plateau of maturity. The tannins have started to resolve, while the aromatics show lovely signs of development. All things considered, the 1998 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next decade, as it is not likely to improve materially from here. [Antonio Galloni, 10/01/2016]

Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026
