Good full straw-yellow. Enticing fresh citrus, aromatic herb, cinnamon and mint aromas are complicated by a note of grilled polenta. Then very bright and fresh on the palate, with a laser beam of acidity giving the rich white stone and herbal flavors uncanny precision and poise. Finishes very pure, with a bright mineral, spicy overlay. This reminded me of a great unoaked Chablis, and it’s still very young. Really outstanding potential here; this will age and improve for another couple decades. Harvested on October 3, and only 12.5% alcohol.
