We are pleased to offer one of the best cellars of older Italian wines we have ever purchased. We have held multiple dinners to showcase the wines and the vibrancy and youthful exuberance of the wines coming from this cellar has always impressed us immensely. We’ve really enjoyed the Oddero Barolos from 1964 and 1967 as well as the Barolo Francesco Rinaldi 1967. There are some real rarities from Bartolo Mascarello which are outstanding and a decent range of Gaja vintages. There may a small premium to some of the wines in relation to some stocks quoted on the market but it is well worth it for wines of this provenance. The wines were bought back in the day by a Northern Italian wine trader who has long retired and haven’t moved from their warehouse since.
